When the operation no longer fits in Excel
In Medellín there are businesses that grew from one site to two without changing how they write things down. The order arrives on WhatsApp, the price lives in one sheet and the stock in another. The person who opens the shop is the only one who knows which file wins. When they are away, something is oversold, the charge is wrong or a delivery is promised that the warehouse does not have. That is not “we need a page”: the business rules are not written in a system.
Generic software brings modules you will not use and hides the one you need. Adapting it costs more than commissioning the right piece. An SME in Laureles, Envigado or the center does not need a corporate ERP: it needs the product, the customer and the day’s close to share one figure. If the counter and the chat already argue the price, custom software in Medellín starts with that argument, not with a feature catalog.
A .NET base that can grow in parts
We build the system in ASP.NET Core. The first deliverable can be a €500 MVP: one usable main flow, for example recording an order and seeing if stock exists. That amount is credited if the project continues. Later you add users, reports or a second point of sale without throwing away what exists. C# lets the same price rule live on the web and, later, in a Windows Forms program or a .NET MAUI app.
SQL Server or PostgreSQL store the data. Access is per user, not a shared password on a slip of paper. The scope is written before coding, in the language of the operation: who creates a product, who changes a price, who closes the day. You test with real cases from your shop. The source code is in your name when payments are complete, with thirty days to fix defects in what was delivered. Custom software should not lock you to us in order to open tomorrow.

We do not promise an infinite system on the first invoice. The deliverable is the flow that was written down. If you later need warehouse stock, a public page or an app for the driver, that is the next milestone on the same .NET base. That avoids rebuilding the work every time the shop opens a new line.
Reference price
The MVP starts at €500. A landing, if the first step is only presence, is €1,500. A corporate site is €2,500. A custom web application, with a panel and its own rules, starts at €4,500. Optional monthly support is €150, with no lock-in. These are EUR references; your shop’s scope can land above or below, and you see it before paying the milestone.
Case: supermarket platform
La Bodega de Nacho, MaxiOferta and MyTienda did not need three separate programs. The platform is multi-tenant and built in ASP.NET Core: each brand operates in its own space and the code is shared. We do not publish a sales or time-saved figure because that metric is still to be confirmed. What we can state is the design: several brands, one system.
Questions about custom software
Do I need to know technology to commission it?
No. It is enough to explain how an order arrives, who dispatches it and which number must match. We turn that into screens. If you later want the technical detail, the code and the database stay described in the scope.
Can we start with only an MVP?
Yes. The €500 MVP covers one usable main flow and is credited if you continue. It lets you see the system with your own data before committing the rest of the modules.
Does it work if I have two sites in Medellín?
Yes. The model can separate data by site or by brand, as in the supermarket platform. The scope says whether each site sees only its own data or the warehouse sees the whole.
