The warehouse and the till do not count the same
In a supermarket or a shop in Medellín the shortage shows up when the customer is already at the till. The warehouse sheet says one quantity, the counter notebook says another and the order chat subtracts nothing. You buy too much or promise a product that is not there. Closing the day becomes an argument. It happens in a single shop and, worse, when two brands or two points share goods.
A generic inventory program brings fields nobody fills and misses the movement you do use: a transfer between warehouse and shelf, a price per site, or a cashier who must not change the cost. Forcing the business into the template costs more than writing the rule. An inventory system in Medellín has to look like how you receive, count and sell, not like a manual from another country.
Inventory in .NET, on the web or at the counter
If the till is a Windows PC and you do not want to depend on the browser, the program can be Windows Forms against SQL Server: fast at the counter, with stock next to the price. If several people sign in from different sites, or brands must stay separate, the same model lives in ASP.NET Core. The supermarket platform — La Bodega de Nacho, MaxiOferta and MyTienda — is the multi-tenant example: several operations, one codebase, separate data.
The first cut can be a €500 MVP: look up stock and record a movement. It is credited if the system grows. Later come transfers, cashier users and a closing report. We do not invent a reduced-shrinkage figure: that is measured in your operation and, if it is not measured, we do not publish it. We do leave the movement written in the database, so it stops depending on memory. The code is in your name when payments are complete, with thirty days of fixes.
What you receive
- A list of movements: in, out, transfer or the one you use.
- A program in ASP.NET Core or Windows Forms, as the scope says.
- Products, prices and stock in SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
- Users with permissions and the source code in your name.
We run a test with you using real products, not toy data that later looks nothing like the shop. If there is more than one site, the scope says whether stock is shared or split. A report that was not written down does not enter the first delivery: it stays as a milestone, with its price.
Reference price
The inventory-flow MVP starts at €500. If the system is already a web application with several users and sites, the reference rises from €4,500. A Windows Forms counter program is quoted by screens and movements, not by a page tariff. Monthly support is €150, with no lock-in. Amounts in EUR, explained on the pricing page. Milestone payment: about 40, 30 and 30 percent.
Case: supermarkets on one platform
La Bodega de Nacho, MaxiOferta and MyTienda share a multi-tenant platform built in ASP.NET Core. Each brand operates apart and maintenance is not tripled. We do not publish units sold or a before-and-after shrinkage number: that metric is still to be confirmed. The case shows that inventory for several brands in Medellín can live in one .NET system.
Questions about inventory
Web or a Windows program?
Windows Forms fits if the till is a single PC and you want something direct. ASP.NET Core fits if several people or several sites sign in. Sometimes you start at the counter and the web lookup comes later, on the same database.
Does it work for more than one brand?
Yes. A multi-tenant layout separates data and shares code, as with La Bodega de Nacho, MaxiOferta and MyTienda. The scope writes what each brand can see.
Will you promise that shrinkage goes down?
Not with an invented percentage. The system records the movement so you can measure it. If you later have your own figure, it can be published; until it exists, we do not put it up.
How do I ask for a quote?
Through the form or krats.tech@gmail.com. If you prefer WhatsApp, say so in the message. Tell us how many points you have in Medellín and whether the till is a PC or people already sign in from elsewhere.
I want the stock to match
Tell us how you count the warehouse and the till today. We see whether the first step is a €500 MVP or a multi-site system. Write through the form; if WhatsApp is better, say so in the message.
